The AI track of the Google for Startups Cloud Program gives eligible startups up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits over two years to cover compute, storage, and usage of Google's own models like Gemini and Gemma. It's built for startups whose core product runs on Gemini or the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, not for general-purpose cloud spend.
- Your product uses, or plans to use, Gemini or the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform as the foundation of what you're building
- You've raised a Pre-Seed or Seed round within the last 5 years, or a Series A within the last 12 months, from an institutional investor or VC (SAFEs count)
- Your startup was founded within the last 5 years
- You haven't yet received more than $5,000 in Google Cloud credits
Acceptance is at Google Cloud's discretion. IPO'd or acquired companies, educational institutions, government entities, nonprofits, personal blogs, dev shops, consultancies, agencies, and crypto-mining companies aren't eligible.
Credits cover Google's own models, including Gemini and Gemma, when used on Google Cloud. Third-party models are billed directly and aren't covered.
Apply directly through Google Cloud's startup program. You'll need your Google Cloud billing account ID and details on your funding stage and how Gemini fits into your product.
Apply for the AI programYou won't qualify for the AI track above, but Google's Start tier is built for pre-funded startups: $2,000 in Google Cloud credits, free-tier AI Studio access, 12 months of Google Workspace Business Plus, and $200 in Google Skills credits. You'll need a working MVP and to have been founded within the last 24 months.
